Diaper Cake for Boys in Red and Blue

A diaper cake for boys in red and blue is all about baseball and apple pie. It’s not just for a July birthday shower but perfect for any baby boy being born into a family of athletes or one who you know is going to have a baseball glove and a football jersey before he can even walk.
To start, find the perfect teddy bear or stuffed animal for the top. From there, you can pick the other baby accessories that match the colors in the topper. That way, even if you decide to save money by not adding too many baby boy accessories, you’ll have a great looking cake.
This is a three tier cake but could easily be made as two tiers. Use a white terry towel or infant bathrobe to cover the diapers.
Bright, blue ribbon and vivid, red bows wrap around each layer of the diaper cake. The bows are a mix of polka dots and stripes. The additional diaper cake decorations include coordinating socks and a nice red and blue bib.
